Carrying a Legacy. Creating a Future

Perfect Vision Women Tanzania is a non-profit organization committed to empowering women and girls in Arusha, Tanzania. Our story is rooted in both heartbreak and hope—born from the vision of the late Mama Happy, a courageous woman who transformed her pain into purpose.

In 2019, Mama Happy founded the organization after surviving immense personal challenges. She dreamed of creating a safe and supportive space where women and girls could openly share their experiences, access life-changing opportunities, and find strength in community.

After her sudden passing, her daughter Editha Faustine made a bold and selfless decision to leave her job and carry forward her mother’s mission. Since 2021, she has led the organization with passion and dedication—expanding the reach and honoring her mother’s powerful legacy.

Today, Perfect Vision Women Tanzania is a growing movement of hope, healing, and transformation—driven by the belief that every woman and girl deserves the chance to thrive.

Providing tools for starting and managing small businesses, including financial literacy.

  • English and Life Skills

Our outreach work brings vital support directly to communities through education, advocacy, and humanitarian care.

Health Promotion and Empowerment
Focuses on menstrual hygiene education and the distribution of reusable sanitary pads to promote health and dignity.

Includes gender-based violence prevention, child rights advocacy, and providing emergency support to women, children and any other marginalized people in crisis.

OUR TEAM

Editha Faustine

Executive Director

Perfect Vision Women Tanzania was born from my mother’s heart—Mama Happy, a woman whose passion for empowering Taking over Perfect Vision was not just a responsibility—it was a promise I made at her graveside: that I would continue what she began, no matter how hard it got. And every day since, I’ve poured my heart into this journey—fighting for every girl to stay in school, for every woman to find her strength, and for every forgotten voice to be heard. This is more than work. It’s legacy. It’s love. It’s Mama Happy’s spirit—alive in everything we do. Read More
