On International Women’s Day, we celebrated the remarkable achievements of women in our society and nation. As an organization dedicated to empowering women, Perfect Vision Women Tanzania seized the opportunity to visit a school catering to girls with special needs. These remarkable young women faced unique challenges, including hearing and skin disabilities.
During our visit, we conducted educational sessions on reproductive health and hygiene, recognizing the importance of providing comprehensive support to these students. In addition, we distributed reusable sanitary pads, ensuring they had access to safe and clean menstrual hygiene products. Our commitment to the well-being and empowerment of women was encapsulated in our slogan, ‘Invest in women to speed up development.’
By investing in the health and education of students with special needs, Perfect Vision Women Tanzania aimed to facilitate their academic journey and help them realize their future aspirations. Through initiatives like these, we strove to create a more inclusive and equitable society where every woman had the opportunity to thrive.
